Well, since Ben was born a lot has happened!! I took Ben to his 2 week appointment and he is a growing, big boy! He was 9 lb. 4 oz. -- and still growing! We have been having so much fun with him in our home- Leila absolutely loves him, she is a great big sister, but loves to act like the mother! It's really quite cute! So here are a few updated pictures of him...

Next update... About a week after Ben was born Brent had the opportunity to go to St. Louis for 3 interviews at Xavier (Ohio), University of Missouri, and St. Louis University. The night before he left Heather, Brent's sister, called and told him to bring Leila - she would be free to fly with him and when he would go to his interviews she would just be able to stay and play with cousins! So we decided that it would be fun for her-- and she had a BLAST!! When she talked to me on the phone all she could talk about was the airplane and getting pretzels and apple juice!
Brent said Leila was great on the plane rides and loved to entertain by talking to everyone on the plane.
They had a layover in Phoenix and Leila loved to watch the planes take off and land!
Thanks again to Heather & Matt and Jordan & Chelsea for taking care of Brent and Leila for me while they were there!!The best part of this update is Brent has been accepted to ALL the schools he has interviewed at! We have had many different offers - so now it is decision making time! We will keep you updated, but for now we think it's down to University of Missouri or St. Louis University. (I think Brent really likes Missouri!)
So there you have it! Sorry it was a little longer than I thought it would be, but hey - the good part is there are a lot of pictures to look at! :)

Dang it. Apparently the University of Tulsa's been ruled out.
I just looked at the weather in both Columbia and St. Louis. St. Louis was colder by 3 degrees ... that'd be enough to send me to Mizzou! :-)

I guess that's a no on sunny San Diego too huh? I can't blame you, California is LAME! Plus, no seasons sucks. Congrats into getting into all 3 schools! It almost makes the decision harder though, don't you think?

Hey! It was so fun to see you guys last weekend, and meet your snuggly, sweet fella! Congrats again to Brent. We are appropriately happy for and jealous of you!

I have several different thoughts first...I miss you! Second, Congrats on having your beautiful baby boy! Third Leila is darling! And is getting so big! Fourth congrats of going to Missouri! That is so exciting! Last but not least, Megan, I just love you!
