Chicago!

We found out yesterday that we will be headed to Chicago for the summer. I will be working for Centegra Health System (formerly Northern Illinois Medical Center) and I think we will have an apartment in McHenry. We're excited for the opportunity and look forward to yet another adventure! Centegra sounds like a fantastic organization and my preceptor will be David Tomlinson, cousin to Dr. Flint Tomlinson (fairly new dentist) in Roosevelt. I will probably be working in McHenry, Woodstock and Crystal Lake and we will be there from about May 25 to August 24.

Well, I'm a little late with this one, but I definitely had to post something about my baby turning one!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone and how much he has grown!Ben has brought so much fun and laughter to our home! He is a fast paced, climbing, almost 100% walking, silly little boy. He loves to tease people especially his sister and daddy.

Snow Day!

Last week we woke up to a few inches of snow. Our neighbors called to see if Leila and Ben wanted to go out and play with them in the snow. We thought we better do it in the morning because most the time the snow melts by the afternoon.Ben LOVES the snow and loves to be outside even if it is FREEZING--

Good thing we had a snow suit for him (thanks Jana) because he rolled in the snow and crawled all over.
Leila loved to slide down into the snow and she learned how to snow angels. However, I didn't get a pictures of her doing one, but she continues to talk about snow angels and now she "makes" snow angels in the bathtub which gets a little messy. But we had a lot of fun in the snow-- Thanks Webbs!! We need to do it again sometime!

They really ARE best friends! Ü

Leila often tells me that Ben is her best friend! I love to hear it, but this really SHOWS it!

Our boy is growing too fast!

Well, we are all happy to be home again after our time in Utah and China. It was a nice break from school and we had a wonderful time. We were lucky to have Meg's mom and brother come out for a few days and help drive the distance. We went to the zoo, to a Blues game, the city museum, the arch museum, up the frozen Mississippi to Alton, and to Jefferson Barracks. We had a great time and appreciate all the help!
